#DESIGNER WITH LOVE FOR TEXTILE
Maud Hoeijmakers (1992) graduated in 2015 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design Maastricht.
During her study, she did an internship at studio Mae Engelgeer in Amsterdam.
She graduated with the collection ‘FRAGMENTS’, a collection that’s an homage to the lonely sock.
Maud’s work can be described as a combination of cenceptuality and functionality. She likes it to delve into the technical aspect of a product and to experiment with different materials. Nevertheless, in the end the story behind is as important as the product itself.
And although her bachelor degree is officially called ‘Textile Design’, she rather defines herself as a designer with a love for textile.
